Upcoming PvE content!

It's time for the benIgn and malevolent personalities of badlands to join hands and rejoice over exciting things! Some of you may recognize my account, as I use to play frequently back I'm 2005-2007. Well, I'm back now, and have recently put a fair amount of work into the toolset fabricating some brand new areas. These areas will feature new leveling areas (levels 21-40), in addition to 5 new bosses, and a new stronghold and binding location. I plan on keeping the details of the areas secret until they launch; however, I'll certainly be done before September. I plan on keeping active in terms of development, so you can expect to see fresh and ongoing content as the ideas come to me. Thanks for reading and its good to be back!

Just don't overwhelm yourself. Remember that any thing new is always a plus so long as it doesn't break anything already there(looking at you Hex with those tokens I gotta nerf soon >_>)

Roger that. I don't foresee many conflicts. What exactly do you mean by breaking?

Mmmm, one example is the one I previously stated. The buff tokens Hexis created are cool, useful, and to the game, but they also invalidate the point of scrolls because they are better in every way(half cast time, infinite, and don't require spellcraft/umd). That's why I need to nerf them to allow you to only have one of each token in your inventory max. To at least remove the infinite part.

Ah, ok. I've been avoiding doing anything that would affect balance. I haven't added so much as a scabbard of blessing. Most all of my additions are strictly pve with added scripts affecting mobs onspawn vfx and simple onuse teleport pc portals and onuse open doors. I will be adding a few boss weapons or armor, but I've been keeping balance a priority and am open to feedback on them for possible nerfs and buffs. I'm keeping my head wrapped around the big picture and making an effort not to cause anyone else any extra work.

just curious about what you may be working on in terms of settings for your areas.. so far I've made a crypt, 1-40.. even tho there's already a crypt in dozo which I forgot about so now there's two >.> also I made the negative energy plane, and currently working on the elemental plane of air, infinite plane of portals and maybe random another plane(?)..

I also kinda wanna make the other three planes but I don't have a vision for them at all.. there aren't any good tilesets in my mind that would do good justice to the elemental plane of fire, water, or maybe even earth.. I guess I could just make the elemental plane of earth in some cave but that just seems lame.

The fact that we both did air can be problematic but I'm sure they can be attached via transition and everybody will be happy. Also, i have no plans on doing the outer planes like negative etc if u would like to do those

I only just started on air .. I had a few ideas that I thought would be cool, but other than that I don't really have any intention of making the other three. And even then I'm not sure I'll make it so I'll just let you lol

I was however thinking of eventually asking someone to make those planes so I could connect them with the plane of portals.
