How to resist 'Knockdown Bolt'?

Heya

Just wondering if it's possible to resist or in any way avoid the knockdown bolt cast by specific bosses on the module. It does not have an ac check nor discipline check.
Used a toon with 80 ac and 80ish disc - still couldn't avoid it.

And it doesn't use spell resist check either...

After researching a bit I found out the fact why a touch attack is so friggin hard to resist, here's why:

A touch attack denies the defender their armor and shield AC (base and bonus), as well as their natural armor bonus to AC. All other armor class modifiers, such as the size modifier, dexterity modifier, and deflection/dodge bonus apply (or don't apply, e.g. if flat-footed) normally. Consequentially, touch attacks sometimes have a significantly better chance of hitting than regular attacks.

Wonder if this applies to wizard spells that are considered touch attacks, like 'Vampiric Touch', as well...

HighV might consider modifying touch attacks...

Typically the easiest way to deal with knockdown bolt bosses is to just summon a creature immune to knockdown and watch as the boss uses EVERY bolt on that summon. Then once it runs out rush it down.
