So it has come to my attention that many players would like a new PvP area for Newport, well... I'm giving a lucky person the opportunity to create their own area to permanently be a part of the BadLands experience!
So you may be thinking, "Why should I care?", well good news! The creator who makes the area most beloved will receive 2 gold amulets!
Now I imagine you're thinking, "So how in the hell do I do this?", well good news again!
The path to your toolset is accessed through this.
Now double click that to open it up, from there you'll have an interface looking like this:
The next step is to use the "Area Wizard" shown there to actually create an area!
From there you want to actually pick one, my cool idea is a captain in newport takes players to an island, so I choose "tropical"!
Now it comes to size, how big should your area be? A good thing to keep in mind is that the bigger the area, the longer it takes to load, and furthermore that if the area is huge a lot of it might go completely un-used, Path of The beaten for instance is a 6x6 area!
Open up the area properties dialogue after you create it.
and there you have it! From there just use the features and create your own super cool map!
I nearly forgot, you'll also want to check "features" in order to add/remove neat things to your map.
