 Newly Revamped Leveling

Those who level without buffs and with PvP active receive an increase to their dropped item values from ALL sources(including dark gods and gift of gods) equal to each level they obtain while this is active past level 2. This obviously does not apply when giving yourself experience through any means outside of a direct DMs assistance.

Thus if you level from 2 to 40 without buffs from a buffer and PvP active(which flags you as an active leveler to those who login with the "PK" switch on) you can obtain a maximum benefit of 837%! Which is pretty massive.

With this system if you are just making a character for PvP, you are free to use whatever means you find the fastest, if you want more you can level naturally.

With this system comes a new set of challenges added to each area.... I've already begun adjusting challenge ratings and thanks to some helpful information from madman we will be having unique groups of monsters that spawn in guarding chests when a player has been leveling there for a while.

When is the Baba Yaga's coming? a simple +4 EB statue, lvl 10 DF, attributes statues?

there's an area with lightning elementals that give you buffs if you remain friendly to them, it's close to dozo.

Dear Highv

I find it great that you continue to improve the Badlands Module.
Would you be so kind and elaborate a bit upon the following: level without buffs and with PvP active, as I tried it on the module and couldn't seem to figure out whether it was active or not.

Level without buffs: Does this include buffs from your own spells? Does it include buffs from the healer in Dozo? Does it include buffs from a secondary toon?
Level with pvp active: How do you flag yourself as pvp active? I couldn't find any function in-game that did this for me?

Sorry for being nubbish, bu I'd like to utilise your new leveling system, I just can't seem to figure out how to activate it.

The buffs cannot be from any toon 10 levels or more higher than yourself, and as for the "PK switch" i myself am sorta in the dark on this.

in game if you type in the chat bar, !Chance it will prompt in the combat log of how much you have earned, the most i have is 510

The level without buffs checks the spell level of the buff cast and if it's 10 or more levels then your character it will prevent the bonus. PvP active flag is something I've still been working on, but I figured I'd add in the benefits of it for now.

In the future it's flagged using Player Tools, and what it does is it pops up to PKers you're leveling within a certain region of areas. The part of the system still in progress is the damage scaling and rewards for the pker or defender for winning.

I remember you told us your paladin will be multiclass with assasssin its why you call him renagate,in that case where can a change alignement for player or its just for the admin's team.

Remember the statues in Oasis explain everything about classes, all of it.

Assassin does not require evil alignment on this server.
