WM superior weapon focus.

Does it also increase AC by +1 with each level? if so, what ac bonus is it considered? dodge? When does it start working? after rest? I got some bonus ac on my test wm build lol! It seems to be equal to the total bonus ab from wm.

Yes, for str based WMs it's exactly equal to the superior focus ab bonus for -dodge- AC.

So i figured that such builds are possible:

wm 2hander with faust, ~71ac constant, no div shield, ~67ab, wm crits 16-20x4 (~250 dmg), small monk speed bonus.

Look, that s pretty much the standart div shield 1hander tank stats but with like what. 40% more dps? ofc he doesnt get dev but he doesnt need to bother with divine shield either.
Imo that would ve been kinda fair for 1hander wm using div shield, however the 2hander variant looks unrealistic in terms of balance. 1 haned wm would be getting like what. 20% more dps or so.

Maybe the 2hander WMs shouldnt be getting the ac, and instead dex wms should be getting bonus disc much like wm already receives bonus fort atm.

What im trying to say is that either wm ac bonus or faust ac bonus can be op in certain builds(yeh yeh pala wm monk). Faust is just going to be no1 weapon of the server  soon, no? Maybe if pala wm monk had ~66 ac that could be kinda closer to fair(yeh minuis the faust bonus or minus the wm ac bonus). However even the, he cfould try and take div shield for the same ac at the cost of some ab (i suppose 1 at maximum ab sacrifice) and it would be kinda op again. But honestyl even with 66ac you dont need other builds with the damage like this.




Also, is it true that the druid gets +mod wis/2 ac and it stacks with monk wis ac?

The general consensus is players do not want WM receiving any AC at all for any forms(which I suppose makes sense, it has 2 hander damage, with str tank AC, so with an ACTUAL 2 hander WM, it's more like [2 handerx2] damage with slightly better then 2 hander AC), dex based WMs do receive a discipline bonus.. Instead of AC.

Ultimately due to just how outrageous WM has become with it being abused on so many levels to just be -the- str tank of choice... I am dropping the AC bonus from WM. The spell overhaul stops WMs from being infinitely disabled, so it was an obvious choice.

Faust will most likely become a very beloved weapon, yes, mostly because 2 handers add half their constitution modifier as shield AC if their ab is 65 or below(counting static and magical, but not situational). While a WM with faust has some pretty colossal damage, it loses out on dev, which a single handed WM abuses the f*** out of.

In addition the ride skill gives +1 base AC per 10 ranks(think PM or RDD) which doesn't stack with PM or RDD or monk(base AC). So you can have some 2 handers with pretty amazing AC there.

To recap.... The ride skill gives +1 base AC per 10 ranks(base, not magically or ability enhanced) which won't stack with RDD or PM or monk(base AC).

2 handers gain half their constitution modifier to shield AC, provided they have 65 ab or less.

Thus a WM doesn't need that AC bonus anymore, they can obtain a similar gain using ride skill.

As for druid, that is correct, they obtain a very large AC bonus using Owl's Insight.

The goal here is to create variety rather then focus the power into singular classes, I've slowly been improving classes to make them unique and interesting compared to each other, but now we need to focus on the overall to reign it all in.
